The proposed work includes the installation of new fiber optic infrastructure, including approximately 17,816 lineal feet of 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit via horizontal directional drilling, 14,156 lineal feet of 2 x 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit (2 parallel conduit runs pulled together) via horizontal directional drilling, 9,460 lineal feet of new aerial fiber, approximately 53,471 lineal feet of fiber optic cable (various strand count), installation of underground fiber vaults and handholes and the subsequent installation of fiber optic cable and appurtenances, and testing in the City of Hudson, Ohio. Hudson Drive Waterline Improvement Project - REBID

Alternate 1 includes the installation of approximately 3,135 lineal feet of 12-inch, PVC, CERTALOK-DR14 water main from the Hudson Drive/Hudson Gate Drive intersection, along Hudson Drive and the Summit Metroparks Hike and Bike Trail to an existing Hudson-owned 12-inch water main at the Metro RTA railroad tracks.
Alternate 2 includes the installation of approximately 1,144 lineal feet of 12” Class 53 ductile iron water main from the Hudson Drive/Hudson Gate Drive intersection along Hudson Drive to an existing Akron-owned water main.
