The improvement includes replacement and rehabilitation of piping in the basement of Building 05 including new couplers, nuts and bolts, and saddle taps. It also includes painting of existing piping and potential of lining the inside of piping and all necessary materials, equipment, labor, miscellaneous associated work and cleanup, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 681-001/009, located at the Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 3000 Vandalia Road, Des Moines, Iowa.

The improvement includes construction of a phosphorus recovery system including a new phosphorus release building and new phosphorus recovery building, filtrate modifications and new filtrate holding tank, a new hauled waste receiving tank, site piping and utility relocations and extensions, site roadway improvements, and all necessary materials, equipment, labor, miscellaneous associated work and cleanup, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 680-001/327, located at the Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 3000 Vandalia Road, Des Moines, Iowa.
