Camp Perry Joint Training Center FMS17 Women’s Latrine Renovation 1000 Lawrence Road Port Clinton, OH 43452

This solicitation is a reposting of a renovation project at the Akron Hawkins Ohio Army National Guard Armory.

Project is to remediate an existing 1 story pre-engineered metal building that has been fit out to provide a barracks for military personnel. There are signs of mold throughout the building, specifically in the barracks rooms along the exterior perimeter walls. The mold spores have entered into the interior space. Work required will be to remove all fixtures attached through the gypsum board exterior wall and salvage for re-installation. Remove the gypsum wallboard, metal studs, and rigid insulation. The exterior wall cavity and the barracks rooms will need to be cleaned and remediated such that they are free of mold spores to a level that is acceptable. New metal stud furring, rigid insulation, and gypsum wallboard will be installed at all demoed walls. Mechanical ducts shall be cleaned and insulation added to diffusers and other mechanical components. Energy Recovery Ventilation units will be installed to create positive pressure in the building and downspouts on the north side of the building shall be reworked to reduce standing water adjacent to the building. and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.

Repairs to existing metal roof of FMS building, New metal roof over existing metal roof for Cold Storage building, Adding a site catch basin, adding a concrete pad and new gate, adding storm drainage to tie one downspout into existing catch basin. Replacing epoxy flooring of FMS building, Cleaning masonry and sealing. Alternates to include new overhead doors on Cold Storage, adding ventilation to Cold Storage and additional epoxy flooring inside FMS building. Also, structural engineering services are required to confirm mezzanine loading capacity.
