RFP#FPC-25-07 Construction Term Contract
Scope of Work:
The work consists of, but is not limited to, construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair to UAA owned and leased facilities and its extended campus facilities located with the State of Alaska. The work includes all materials, supplies, labor and equipment required and necessary to complete the scope of work described in each work order.
The total quantity of work ordered during the first contract period, and any subsequent renewal period, will typically not be less than $5,000 nor more than $100,000 per work order with a not to exceed aggregate total of $3.5 million during any one-year contract period. Individual work order authorizations may exceed $100,000, up to $500,000, based on need at the sole discretion of the University.
Work performed in conjunction with this term contract is subject to State of Alaska, Title 36. Public Contracts and the prevailing wage rate determination(s) contained in Pamphlet No. 600. A Notice of Award for Work Orders greater than $25,000 will be submitted to the State of Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD). Contractor will be responsible to pay filing fees to the State of Alaska DOLWD in accordance with statute section 36.05.045(a).

A pre-proposal conference will be held on June 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, in the Gordon Hartlieb Hall Building Room 103, at 3300 Seawolf Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508, for the purpose of answering any questions offerors may have.

UAA RFP#FPC-23-12 Alaska Leaders' Archive
The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is requesting proposals from consulting firms for professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the UAA Alaska Leaders' Archive.
Project Scope of Work:
The services for this RFP will be completed in phases and is anticipated to include: Planning Services (program validation), conceptual design, 35% schematic design, 65% design development, 95% construction documents, 100% Bid Documents, and construction phase services.
The Alaska Leaders' Archive, will include programming in support of Alaska and Arctic Public Policy, and will be housed at the UAA/APU Consortium Library. Facility renovations to the existing Library will create a modern archive, enhance academic and conference space and a public-facing museum. This unique public repository will bring together, in one place, the documents of Alaska leaders and hold these artifacts for future generations. The archives will allow Alaskans and visitors an opportunity to study and relive events that have shaped our state's history. UAA will present these archives to the public for study and discussion without regard for political considerations or affiliations. The university will use these historical records as a base foundation to advance pathways for civic engagement and programming for public service, dialogue and active civic engagement. Predesign work has been conducted and will be provided for evaluation and support of the RFP process.
