In Fiscal Year 2020-21, Public Works awarded over $1 billion worth of contracts, which helped create 12,394 jobs. The agency’s diverse workforce is comprised of approximately 4,000 employees in nearly 500 job classifications, including professional, technical, clerical, and skilled crafts.

The property is a two-story building of approximately 11,306 gross square feet, constructed in 1933 in a Spanish Colonial style. It was previously renovated in June 2005 and remains vacant after severe vandalism.
