2026 Storm Sewer Lining
The work included in this project generally includes the televising, cleaning and lining of a 48” x 60” galvanized elliptical storm sewer with a UV Cured in place GRFP Liner, geopolymer spray applied pipe liner, or alternate trenchless lining solution. All proposed work shall meet all City, EPA requirements and ordinances of which the Contractor shall become familiar with. All storm service connections shall be located and properly maintained. This linear work shall start at the downstream end and work in the upstream direction. The trunk sewer begins at the main Gleneagles Golf Course Pond, down Hawkins to the rear yards and turns toward Glenwood Drive. This final section being lined begins at the intersection on Timothy/Hawkins junction chamber and heads east down Hawkins into the rear yards turning south and under Glenwood Drive, terminating at the manhole in the tree lawn. It is anticipated the upstream pond will require dewatering to a level that allows work to proceed. A siphon system for dewatering the main pond at the outlet on Timothy Lane is recommended, as it can provide the lowering over night with no noise related to a generator. Residential traffic must be maintained as this developments only ingress/egress is via Timothy Lane.
