RFP 27-05 Fire and Police Department Uniforms
It is the intent of the City of Hammond to secure pricing on the Annual Uniforms for Public Safety (i.e. the City of Hammond Fire and Police Departments). Proposal prices will be for the purchase of the uniforms used by these two departments. No specific quantities are given or guaranteed. All uniform orders will be placed on an "as needed" basis. This contract shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from Proposal award date. Contingent upon the ability of the successful proposer to

RFP 23-18 Sewer Cleaning Combination Truck
The City of Hammond is accepting proposals for 114SD conventional Chassis 2022 Model Vacuum truck capable of removing stones, grit, grease, sludge and other debris from sanitary sewer and/or storm drain lines by the flushing action of high-pressure water. The high-pressure sewer cleaner operates independent of the vacuum system.
The machine includes an air conveying vacuum system to provide for the simultaneous removal of the debris flushed to the manhole by the high-pressure water system or for the removal of debris from sewers, sumps, catch basins, digesters, wet wells, bar screens, etc.
The machine is capable of being operated by one man, with all operating controls for high-pressure water pump, hose reel, and vacuum, located at the front of the machine for safety. The machine shall have a total of 510 available horsepower. The auxiliary engine, water pump, vacuum compressor, debris body and boom support assembly shall be mounted to a single unitized welded sub-frame.
