The contractor shall be responsible for all relocation necessary to connect the new tower to the existing shelter as well as demolition of the existing tower after the new tower has been constructed.

The work is a significant renovation the existing 1906 Lonz Mansion listed on National Historic Register. This project follows a minor abatement and stabilization project on the same structure. Improvements of interior and exterior of the historic building including new utilities, access and grounds and a small adjacent service building will prepare it for new use by the State of Ohio. The work includes modern plumbing and lighting fixtures with a period appropriate appearance, and recreating the details of the original structure to the extent feasible.
