25-22039 Ohio State Highway Patrol, Academy Gymnasium Upgrades 740 East 17th Avenue Columbus, OH 43211 Please note: The bid due date will be extended due to the electrical requirements for the window shades and include the need for junction boxes between each pair of windows and that all boxes and conduit or wiremold will need to be painted to match surrounding color. Also, that the shades will be controlled by a wireless wall switch and remote controllers. Pre-bid Meeting: June 15, 2023, at 9:30-10:30 am at 740 East 17th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43211. Scope of Work: 1. Cover and protect existing flooring prior to demolition and painting 2. Cover and protect existing wall and ceiling mounted items to remain prior to painting 3. Demo of all existing acoustical wall and ceiling mounted panels and any remaining adhesive 4. Sand, clean, primer and paint existing walls, beams and ceiling 5. Sand, clean, primer and paint existing wood doors (gymnasium side ONLY) trim and paneling 6. Demo existing water fountains (north and south wall) and install new ELKAY MODEL LZS8WSSP water fountains with bottle filling stations 7. Demo existing metal doors with attached wood paneling and install new dent resistant fiberglass doors 8.
