The overall mission of the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works is to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain the County infrastructure, which includes public roads, transportation systems, bridges, water, wastewater, channel maintenance and solid waste disposal systems of the County, in order to best serve the interests of the people. These systems are maintained to protect the health and welfare of the public and the County’s financial investments. Public Works also provides vehicle support for the County, including procurement support, heavy and light vehicle maintenance and repair, and daily rental services.

SJCDPW-RFQ-25-02
The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests statements of qualifications from engineering consulting firms to provide on call design engineering support services for miscellaneous projects in San Joaquin County (County). SJCDPW will establish a list of three (3) to five (5) consultant firms to provide services on an “On-Call” basis. The intent is to obtain, through a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) method of procurement, multiple consultant service Purchase Agreements for on-call design engineering support services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000 per fiscal year. Individual consultant service Purchase Agreements will be developed and executed with each firm on the “On-Call” List. The On-Call List will be utilized by SJCDPW for a two-year period with the option of SJCDPW to extend the On-Call List for an additional year. The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified consulting firms to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals – SJCDPW-RFP-25-02. The selected consulting firm (CONSULTANT) will perform professional and technical engineering services for the Airport Way Precise Plan (PLAN). The PLAN will focus on establishing the ultimate configuration of Airport Way between the City of Stockton limits at French Camp Road and the City of Manteca limits south at Roth Road that is necessary to serve future travel demands in south San Joaquin County. Alternatives considered by the PLAN will continue to facilitate industrial operations, including truck traffic, on and near the corridor and evaluate bicycle facilities for continuity with adjacent City planning. The requested services will include public outreach, existing conditions analysis, and proposing transportation alternatives.. NA0017 Pipe Replacement - Deferred Maintenance Program
The work is located San Joaquin County near Lodi, California as well as near Stockton, California and is situated along Potter Creek, Mormon Slough, Bear Creek, Paddy Creek, North Paddy Creek, and Little John Creek. The work, in general, consists of removing existing pipe penetrations through levees and replacing with reinforced concrete pipes, installing flap and slide/canal gates, reinforced concrete riser structures, and new reinforced concrete inlet/outlet structures as prescribed in the project plans and specifications. SJCDPW-RFQ-24-A
The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) Field Engineering Division is requesting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and rate sheet from traffic control firms for on call traffic control services. SJCDPW will select one or more firms (Firm) to provide professional traffic control services to support the Field Engineering Division with various projects. The method of procurement for Firm will be an open and competitive process and will document and support the justification for the selection. The duration of these services will be in effect through June 30, 2026 with the option of SJCDPW to extend the period for one additional year through June 30, 2027. The required services provided by the Firm include Traffic Control for SJCDPW Forces during design related activities on high-volume, high-speed roadways throughout San Joaquin County. All requirements of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Caltrans Standard Plans will be utilized. The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified construction management (CM) firms to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals – SJCDPW-RFP-24-03. The selected CM firm will perform professional and technical construction management engineering services for the Water Main Replacement Project (Project) for Colonial Heights and Lincoln Village Maintenance Districts. The Project is funded by the State of California’s Small Communities Drought Relief Program Grant. The selected CM firm will be the highest ranking firm that has successfully negotiated the terms for award of a consultant services agreement. The selected CM firm or CM team will be requested to enter into a consultant services agreement with San Joaquin County (County). All work shall comply with San Joaquin County Policies. The requested professional services shall include, but will not be limited to, the following: public outreach, resident engineer services, construction management, inspection, materials testing, contract administration, and project records services for the Project.
