The Macomb County Department of Roads (MCDR) will accept bid submittals through Bid Express® no later than Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. All forms included in Bid Express® must be completed. A satisfactory bid bond, certified or cashier’s check, bank money order, or certificate of deposit on an open, solvent bank, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, payable to the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Macomb shall be submitted with each bid. The Macomb County Department of Roads at its discretion, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding process, and to make the award as may appear to be in the best interest of the County of Macomb. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least 45 days.

Moravian Dr. - From Schoenherr Rd to Garfield Rd This project includes a 3" mill and fill, with concrete base repairs, along with curb and gutter replacement, on Moravian Dr from Schoenherr Rd to Utica Rd, and a HMA wedge and 2" overlay, with Detail 7's on Moravian Dr from Utica Rd to Garfield Rd, all under Category #1. Category #2 includes the culvert replacement at the Bousson Drain. Category #3 includes sidewalk installation along Schoenherr Rd and Moravian Rd, along with a Pedestrian crossing at Kingsley Apartments, within the city of Sterling Heights. Category #4 includes sidewalk installation along Moravian Rd within Clinton Township.

2024 PPP CON This project includes a total of approximately 28,000 syds of concrete pavement repair with related joint repair, drainage, and restoration work on a number of locations throughout Macomb County.

WO No. 2076 (North Blom Drive): This project includes the crush and shape of existing pavement, removal of existing driveways, ditch grading, culvert & storm sewer replacement, driveway replacement, HMA paving, concrete pavement repairs & joint sealing and turf restoration work in Harrison Township, Macomb County. WO No. 2077 (North Miles Street): This project includes the crush and shape of existing pavement, removal of existing driveways, ditch grading, culvert & storm sewer replacement, driveway replacement, HMA paving and turf restoration work in Clinton Township, Macomb County. WO No. 2078 (Nadine Drive): This project includes complete removal of existing pavement and driveways, station grading, storm sewer removal/replacement, HMA paving and turf restoration work in Shelby Township, Macomb County. WO No. 2079 (Candler Drive): This project includes complete removal of existing pavement and driveways, station grading, storm sewer removal/replacement, HMA paving and turf restoration work in Shelby Township, Macomb County.
