Demolition of an existing structure, Timber Road over Unnamed Tributary to Swift Run, consisting of a reinforced concrete slab with stone masonry abutments and wingwalls. It will be replaced with a precast reinforced concrete arch culvert and precast reinforced concrete wingwalls, pedestals, headwalls, and footings. The 12-foot span, 6-foot rise proposed precast arch will provide an 18-foot minimum clear roadway width. Replacement includes driving surface aggregate, guiderail, rock lining, and architectural surface treatment.

Demolition of existing structure #02-0012 consisting of a 44” x 68” elliptical corrugated metal pipe arch culvert with stone masonry headwalls. Replace with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete curved rigid frame bridge with a span of 16.0 feet and a underclearance of 3.3 feet minimum.Replacement includes cast-in-place reinforced concrete wing walls. The wing walls and outside faces of the headwalls will include an architectural surface treatment.
Construction of approximately 125 feet of approach roadway consisting of driving surface aggregate..
Construction of R-8 Rock choked with R-4 Rock embankment slopes along the wingwalls and R-8 Rock choked with R-4 Rock and native streambed material through the center of the culvert.
Salvage the existing stone from the headwalls and deliver to Sideling Hill Maintenance Facility stockpile as directed.
