Request for Qualifications for four (4) Trade Contractor Packages: Early Roofing & Flashing ($40,000); Early Plumbing ($40,000); Early HVAC ($780,000); Early Electrical ($200,000) for Holyoke Soldiers' Home - Long-term Care Facility and Campus Framework, Holyoke, MA. The Long-Term Care Project, when completed, will provide a new Soldiers' Home in Holyoke and long-term care of 234 veterans. This package includes early enabling work for a temporary chiller package to maintain continuous operation of the existing HVAC system during construction of the new Long-Term Care Project. The existing chiller plant on site will be demolished and a temporary air-cooled chiller will be installed on the roof of the North Wing. The Construction Manager is Commodore|Walsh, Holyoke Joint Venture.

Elevator Controls Replacement - Lindemann Building, Boston, MA. This project is for the modernization of existing traction elevators, including new ACPM gearless machine, controllers, drives, overspeed governors, fixtures, roller guides, wiring, door equipment, operators, panels, etc. This project includes the following Filed Sub-Bids: Elevators; HVAC; Electrical. The Category of Work is General Building Construction.

Request for Qualifications for Construction Management at Risk Services, Fire Services Southeast Campus, Site Infrastructure & Burn Building, Bridgewater, MA. This project is the first phase of a long-term build out on the former Massachusetts Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center into a Department of Fire Services facility. This project will include the construction of two components: the site utilities and infrastructure; and construction of a new Class A Burn Building prop. Approximately 9 acres of the site will be developed as a “tactical village” of firefighter training props, outdoor classrooms, and support buildings.

DOC Bridgewater – Underground Condensate Piping Replacement, Bridgewater, MA. This project consists of the replacement of underground condensate piping and condensate pumps in each building on the DOC Bridgewater campus, which consists of three major areas. The condensate piping (only), including all condensate pumps for all buildings served by the central steam system will be replaced while existing steam piping and manholes remain active. The piping replacement includes installation of new direct-buried piping, new manholes and a complete overhaul of the State hospital pump house. 240 Bed Facility, Roof and HVAC Replacement, Middleton Jail & HOC, Middleton, MA. This project includes roof and HVAC replacement and renovation of the chiller plant and associated trench and pipe work. Accessibility upgrades to one cell unit and one shower stall, cane rail installation, and new ADA Bench are required. The facility is fully occupied, which will require that the project, which will be inside the security perimeter of the correctional facility, be phased. This project includes the following Filed Sub-Bids: Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron; Roofing & Flashing; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical. The Category of Work is General Building Construction.
