St. Tammany Parish Lot 1 Lease----In 2008, the Parish accepted a donation of 3.62-acre parcel (Lot 1 Survey – Section 7) with the donation specifying that the use by the Parish of Lot 1 property shall be for the expansion of recreational and cultural opportunities for the citizens of St. Tammany Parish. This will only allow buildings, and other supporting infrastructure in conjunction with providing recreational and cultural opportunities. The Parish is soliciting bids for the site development and operation of a recreational amenity located at Lot 1 Koop Drive, Mandeville, Louisiana 70471. The property and grounds are within the Koop Drive PUD and adjacent to the Tammany Trace and Kids Town. The Parish is seeking to provide an opportunity for qualified bidders to prepare and submit a bid to build, operate, and maintain buildings, grounds, and supporting recreational and cultural infrastructure through a ground lease on the property up to the entire 3.62-acre parcel. The goal is to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the building and grounds are used as passive and/or active activities that will further expand recreational and cultural opportunities for the citizens of St. Tammany Parish.
