The project is a first phase of a master plan for improvements to the Botanical Gardens at Independence Community Park. The major components of the project are a walkway system connecting the new Goodwood Library to the Gardens, a formal parterre garden, landscaping, irrigation, site furnishings, lighting, unit paving, a fountain, and garden structures.

The project consists of the demolition and replacement of a new submersible grinder pump station complete with a discharge force main.

Demolition, Grading, Site-Work, Fishing Pond, Concrete Paths, Parking Lots, Modular Restrooms, Basketball Court and Lighting, Parking Lot Lighting, Electrical Infrastructure, Multi-Purpose Sports Field, Sports Turf, Chain-Link Fencing, Bridge Railing, Utility Infrastructure, Picnic Shelter, and Playground.

Annual Contract for Limestone and Recycled Concrete.

An existing house will be remodeled and new porches will be constructed. Work includes, but is not limited to: Lead paint abatement, removal of existing siding, demolition of interior walls, windows, and etc., new interior siding, new electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, new interior walls, new steps, new porch with railings, columns and roof, new interior fixtures, new doors and windows, new ceiling and beams, work on the existing chimney, new millwork, painting and finishing.
