RFQ032963 1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until June 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM local time, for construction services for the Roadway - Polaris Parkway - Gemini Place to South Old State Road project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. This project involves the widening of northbound Polaris Parkway to three lanes from Gemini Place to approximately 1000’ south of South Old State Road and widening of southbound Polaris Parkway to three lanes from Antares Avenue to approximately 67‘ west of Antares Avenue. The project will also widen eastbound Antares Avenue to four lanes to include a 210’ right turn lane at the intersection of Polaris Parkway. Work includes full depth pavement widening, resurfacing in widening areas, curb and gutter, sidewalk, drive reconstructions, new storm sewer, ditches, and culverts, updated lighting, a new signal at the intersection of Polaris Parkway and Antares Avenue, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). All questions concerning this project are to be sent to capitalprojects@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be specified in the IFB; phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The City of Columbus is accepting bids for Short North SID-High Street Improvements-Phase 1, C.I.P. No. 530053-100001, the work for which consists of: replacing the sidewalk and curb on the west side of North High Street between Convention Center Way and Goodale Boulevard, landscaping planter beds and street trees will be installed, North High Street will be planed and overlaid, brick crosswalks will be installed at all signalized intersections, mast arms traffic signal facilities will be installed and other traffic control improvements will be implemented, street and pedestrian light fixtures will be replaced within the project limits, storm sewer inlets will be relocated to accommodate curb modifications, the existing 12” waterline in North High Street will be replaced between Vine Street and Spruce Street, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, plans at 3220 Drawer E and 3368 Drawer E and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Electronic proposals will be received by the Department of Public Service through Bid Express until February 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. local time, for SIGNAL INSTALLATION - COLUMBUS TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM PHASE D, PID 82573, C.I.P. No. 540007-100006. Hard copy proposals will not be accepted by the City. The work for which proposals are invited consists of: installing messenger wire, conduit, pullboxes, fiber optic cable, Ethernet switches, traffic flow monitors, communication cabinets, and wireless radios to migrate the Columbus traffic signal system from older systems to a new one. The limits of the project are primarily central to northern half of Franklin County with 110 miles of fiber optic cable to be installed to connect approximately 265 traffic signals. Some of the major corridors include High Street, Fifth Avenue, Olentangy River Road, Stelzer Road, Karl Road, and Indianola Avenue. Alum Creek Drive Frebis to Refugee Power Relocation
Electronic proposals will be received by the Department of Public Service through Bid Express at https://www.bidexpress.com, until January 19, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. local time, for the ARTERIAL STREET REHABILITATION – ALUM CREEK DRIVE – FREBIS TO REFUGEE (POWER RELOCATION PLAN) PID 102036 project, C.I.P. No. 530103-100042. The question cutoff date for this IFB is January 5, 2017. Hard copy proposals will not be accepted by the City. The work for which proposals are invited consists of: the improvement of 1.28 miles of City of Columbus Division of Power poles and equipment along Alum Creek Drive, the removal of the existing facilities that will no longer be needed, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the plans and specifications set forth at https://www.bidexpress.com. Arena West Nationwide Boulevard
The City of Columbus is accepting bids for Arena West Nationwide Boulevard, C.I.P. No. 000416-000002, the work for which consists of reconstructing 1332 feet of Nationwide Boulevard from the Olentangy River to a point approximately 205 feet west of Fletcher Road. Nationwide Boulevard will be resurfaced from this point to Fletcher Street. This project will also reconstruct 495 feet of Hocking Street from W. Spring Street to Nationwide Boulevard.
