RFQ032963 1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until June 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM local time, for construction services for the Roadway - Polaris Parkway - Gemini Place to South Old State Road project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. This project involves the widening of northbound Polaris Parkway to three lanes from Gemini Place to approximately 1000’ south of South Old State Road and widening of southbound Polaris Parkway to three lanes from Antares Avenue to approximately 67‘ west of Antares Avenue. The project will also widen eastbound Antares Avenue to four lanes to include a 210’ right turn lane at the intersection of Polaris Parkway. Work includes full depth pavement widening, resurfacing in widening areas, curb and gutter, sidewalk, drive reconstructions, new storm sewer, ditches, and culverts, updated lighting, a new signal at the intersection of Polaris Parkway and Antares Avenue, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Intersection Improvements Central Avenue Harrisburg Pike at Mound Street and Intersection Improvements Agler Road Cassady Avenue at Sunbury Road
The work for which proposals are invited consists of two parts. Part 1, Intersection Improvements - Central Avenue-Harrisburg Pike at Mound Street PID 99420 project will consist of signal improvements at the intersection Mound Street, Central Avenue, and Harrisburg Pike. The work will consist of: the installation of a new mast arm traffic signals with radar detection, ADA curb ramps, rebuilding a small traffic island, resurfacing, new sidewalk, pavement markings and signage. Part 2, Intersection Improvements - Agler Road-Cassady Avenue at Sunbury Road PID 99419 project will consist of intersection improvements at Agler Road/Cassady Avenue and Sunbury Road. The work will consist of: adding signage, changing lane configuration, constructing ADA curb ramps, minor drainage and waterline improvements, and adding a new mast arm signal.
