24-10 2024 Sidewalk Maintenance Program
The Project includes the following Work:
Replacement of curb ramps and sidewalk along US-36. This project will bring curb ramps into ADA compliance prior to ODOT’s paving of US-36 in 2025. A small contingency quantity is included for additional curb ramp repairs on other routes, as directed by the City. The add alternate includes addition of pedestrian push button foundations and conduit at Grand Circuit Boulevard and Houk Road. Add Alternate 1 will either be awarded initially with the contract or added by change order at the specified bid price after January 1, 2025.
Notice to Proceed is expected around March 17, 2025. The contractor will have 60 days to complete the project after Notice to Proceed.

24-13 Pollock Road Slip Repair
The purpose of this project is the stabilization of failed west slope embankment along Pollock Road. The stabilization includes the reconstruction of 100 feet of the west slope embankment with drilled shaft soldier pile and plug pile. Incidental work includes reconstruction of pavement, shoulder, and guardrail.
A Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued by 11/25/2024. A contract Milestone requires the slip repair to be complete and road reopened no later than 60 days after a Notice to Proceed is issued. Substantial Completion is 5/23/2025.

24-06 Colomet Drive Reconstruction
The base bid includes reconstruction of Colomet Drive by reclaiming existing pavement into a stabilized base, new underdrain, overlay with new asphalt intermediate and surface course, and pavement markings. Add alternate 1 includes minor grading and drainage improvements. Notice to proceed is expected to be issued within 60 days of bid opening. Substantial completion is September 27, 2024.
The project is partially funded by ODOD 629 Roadwork Development Grant and ODOT Jobs & Commerce Grant.

24-03 2024 OPWC Pennsylvania Ave. & Pittsburgh Dr. Improvements
The Base Bid includes resurfacing Pennsylvania Avenue (entire limits) and Pittsburgh Drive (Section Line to Houk), pavements repairs, restriping, curb ramps, and signage. The project also includes widening for a new turn lane at Pennsylvania Ave. and Heritage Blvd, new multi-use path on the north side of Pennsylvania Ave. from Euclid Ave. to Hayes Colony apartments, sidewalk improvements, and RRFB installation at Euclid Avenue. Add-Alternate #1 includes replacement of black vinyl coated fence on fairgrounds property. Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued by June 10, 2024. All work along Pennsylvania Avenue must be completed by September 13, 2024. Pittsburgh Drive resurfacing may not begin until the Sawmill Parkway detour route is no longer needed (expected around July 27, 2024) and must be completed by October 4, 2024.
