The purchase of Chemicals for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. All chemicals delivered Free on Board (F.O.B.) and unloaded at the Delaware Water Treatment Facility (3080 U.S. Route 23 North) or the Upper Olentangy Water Reclamation Center (225 Cherry St. Delaware, Ohio 43015).

The Work for this project consists of 6-inch depth pavement repairs on US 23 within the City of Delaware between Olentangy Avenue and North Sandusky Street. The date for Substantial Completion is November 20, 2021. A Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on approximately October 25, 2021.

The Base Bid project includes the removal and replacement of existing concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, and curbs at various locations on E. Heffner St., N. Union St., Cottswold Dr., and Somerset Rd. The Base Bid contract time will be 45 days to Substantial Completion. An Add Alternate includes on-call sidewalk and curb repair services for the remainder of calendar year 2021.

Signal System Upgrade covering signalized intersections along Sandusky Street from Belle Avenue to Central Avenue (SR-37), William Street (US-36) from US-23 to Lehner Woods Boulevard, Central Avenue (SR-37) from US-23 to Warrensburg Road and London Road within the City of Delaware. All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the DBE goal. By submitting a DBE Utilization Plan, the Bidder is affirming that they will be using the DBE firms identified in the Utilization Plan to meet the DBE contract goal. The Work for the Base Bid will consist of the resurfacing of West Hull Court, West Hull Drive from Liberty Road to U.S. 23, Hawthorn Boulevard from Liberty Road to U.S. 23; this portion of the work will be partially funded with an Ohio Public Works Commission grant. The Base Bid will also include locally-funded cold-in-place recycling (CIR) with an asphalt overlay of Hillside Drive, Tarpy’s Lane, Park Lane, and Orchard Lane. The Project also includes the following locally-funded Add Alternates: The Work for Add Alternate 1 will consist of the resurfacing of Chatham Lane The Work for Add Alternate 2 will consist of cold in-place recycling (CIR) with an asphalt overlay of Hickory Lane. The Work for Add Alternate 3 will consist of cold in-place recycling (CIR) with an asphalt overlay of Westwood Avenue. The Project has a time to Substantial Completion of 60 days. The Owner will issue a Notice to Proceed after a grant agreement is issued by the Ohio Public Works Commission, which is expected to be issued on July 1, 2021.
