The purpose of work is the placement of a compacted clay cap and topsoil and establishment of vegetative cover over the former Allis Chalmers Landfill. Work includes supply and transportation of suitable cap materials, removal and disposal of existing vegetation, stripping of topsoil, earth moving, creation of access roads, placement, grading and compaction of cap materials, reestablishment of vegetative cover and vegetative cover maintenance. An optional Pre-bid meeting will take place on May 20, 2026 at 10:100AM. . The meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
