2017 District 2 Road Improvements ----- This is a District Capital Road Improvement Project for District 2. The Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to improve by reconstructing and/or milling and overlaying road surfaces as specified along Arthur Rd (R03K034) Section 42 Township 6S Range 11E; Jenkins Ave (R03K061) Section 42 Township 6S Range 11E; Kustenmacher Rd (R03K020) Section 36 Township 6S Range 11E; Schiro Rd (R03G004) Section 2 Township 6S Range 11E; and St. Joseph Rd (R03G002) Section 2 Township 6S Range 11E. The Parish reserves the right to add, remove or otherwise modify the above, as determined necessary by the Parish and as allowed by law. The time period for completion of the project is 60 calendar days from the date the Notice to Proceed is issued.

Del Oaks Drive & Roger Storme Rd Road Improvements...........This is a District Capital Road Improvement Project for District 4. The Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to improve road surfaces by raising the elevation of approx. 450 lf of roadway on Del Oaks by approx. 6.5 ft, and raising the elevation of approx. 400 lf of roadway on Roger Storme by approx. 6.5 ft, work to also include removal of trees, replacement of driveway aprons, and modifications for tie-ins as specified along Del Oaks Dr (R04A047) Section 54 Township 7S Range 11E ; Roger Storme (R04A001) Section 54 Township 7S Range 11E.

Safe Haven Renovations Quad A Asbestos Abatement ----- The abatement of ACM (floor tile, drywall walls and drywall ceilings) and the selected demolition of millwork and other building components, per the plans and specifications (Attachment “A”). All demolition activity shall follow the applicable, federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations. Contractor shall be responsible for removal, transportation and disposal of the demolition debris in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations governing demolition and the demolition of structures containing hazardous substances. Project requires a Building Construction License and Hazardous Materials License. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a well known technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded. Contract time shall be 45 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. All labor, supervision, materials, services, supplies, equipment, permits, transportation and disposal fees required to complete the work, per the plans and specifications (Attachment “A”), shall be included in the lump sum bid.
