Camp Salmen Nature Park Playground----------------St. Tammany Parish Government is requesting a Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install approximately 5,651 square feet of turf over existing poured-in-place surfacing, as well as install 1,536 square feet of new turf and padding over a stone base. The Contractor shall also provide and install a 60’LX50’WX12’H Eave Hip Shade structure to cover the playground area, and install a 3 bay 8’ swing frame with shade and swing set belt seats or comparable in the area with the new turf at the Camp Salmen Nature Park Playground, 35122 Parish Pkwy, Slidell, LA 70460.

Justice Center Lighting Upgrade to LED-------------------------- The Parish extends this MATERIAL ONLY bid request to procure energy efficient LED lightbulbs and/or upgrade kits (products) for the Justice Center Lighting Upgrade to LED project. Pricing shall include all shipping and delivery costs and must be valid through the term of the contract, which is valid until December 31, 2016. Defective products and products damaged during shipping and/or delivery shall be replaced at no additional cost to the Parish. Products shall be delivered within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date a Purchase Order is issued by the Parish. A liquidated damages fee of five hundred ($500) dollars per day shall be in effect for products not delivered within the specified time frame. All product deliveries shall be made to the Facilities Management Office at the Justice Center located at 701 N. Columbia Street, Covington, La 70433. The specifications in Attachment “A” are intended to be the minimum requirements of the products to be provided in the bid request. The specifications shall provide an equal to or greater than value. Request for approval of an equivalent product must be submitted, with the alternative product specifications, catalog cuts, and descriptive literature, per the deadline date and time set forth in Section 1.3 Schedule of Events of this Bid Request. The Parish shall review the request, determine if the product qualifies as an “approved equivalent” and issue an addendum with the determination. It is the sole discretion of the Parish to make the determination if a product will be acceptable as an equivalent. Please send “approved equivalent” requests via email to purchasing@stpgov.org no later than 2:00 PM on August 23, 2016. The name of any manufacturer mentioned in the specifications is for the purpose of establishing a minimum acceptable standard of quality desired by the Parish. On all items bid, the Respondent shall indicate clearly the product being bid and, where applicable, shall supply catalog cuts and descriptive literature with the original copy of the bid. All products bid must have prior approval as “approved equivalents”. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a well-known technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded. A bid guarantee is not required for this project. The Base Bid shall be the sum total of the unit prices for one (1) each of the specified products in Attachment “A,” which shall include all applicable costs.
