2016 District 12 Road Improvements ----- This is a 2016 Capital Road Improvement Project for District 12. The work specified in this project will require the Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to improve road surfaces with a 2” mill and overlaying, and removing and replacing concrete panels as specified along Behrman Street (R08U015) Section 23 Township 9S Range 14E ; and Bosworth Street (R08U020) Section 23 Township 9S Range 14E. The Parish reserves the right to add, remove or otherwise modify the above, as determined necessary by the Parish and as allowed by law.

2016 District 10 Road Improvements.......This is a 2016 Capital Road Improvement Project for District 10. The work specified in this project will require the Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to improve road surfaces with milling and overlaying, overlaying, and adding pavement striping along Coffee Street (R04D047) Section 39 Township 8 South Range 11 East; Dupard Street (R04D168) Section 39 Township 8 South Range 11 East; and Lafitte Street (R04D050) Section 39 Township 8 South Range 11 East.

2016 District 13 Road Improvements.........This is a 2016 Capital Road Improvement Project for District 13. The work specified in this project will require the Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to improve road surfaces with asphalt overlays on Faciane Lane (R09H022) Section 38 Township 9S Range 14E ; Coin Du Lestin Dr. (R09H025) Section 38 Township 9S Range 14E.

Justice Center Lighting Upgrade to LED-------------------------- The Parish extends this MATERIAL ONLY bid request to procure energy efficient LED lightbulbs and/or upgrade kits (products) for the Justice Center Lighting Upgrade to LED project. Pricing shall include all shipping and delivery costs and must be valid through the term of the contract, which is valid until December 31, 2016. Defective products and products damaged during shipping and/or delivery shall be replaced at no additional cost to the Parish. Products shall be delivered within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date a Purchase Order is issued by the Parish. A liquidated damages fee of five hundred ($500) dollars per day shall be in effect for products not delivered within the specified time frame. All product deliveries shall be made to the Facilities Management Office at the Justice Center located at 701 N. Columbia Street, Covington, La 70433. The specifications in Attachment “A” are intended to be the minimum requirements of the products to be provided in the bid request. The specifications shall provide an equal to or greater than value. Request for approval of an equivalent product must be submitted, with the alternative product specifications, catalog cuts, and descriptive literature, per the deadline date and time set forth in Section 1.3 Schedule of Events of this Bid Request. The Parish shall review the request, determine if the product qualifies as an “approved equivalent” and issue an addendum with the determination. It is the sole discretion of the Parish to make the determination if a product will be acceptable as an equivalent. Please send “approved equivalent” requests via email to purchasing@stpgov.org no later than 2:00 PM on August 23, 2016. The name of any manufacturer mentioned in the specifications is for the purpose of establishing a minimum acceptable standard of quality desired by the Parish. On all items bid, the Respondent shall indicate clearly the product being bid and, where applicable, shall supply catalog cuts and descriptive literature with the original copy of the bid. All products bid must have prior approval as “approved equivalents”. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a well-known technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded. A bid guarantee is not required for this project. The Base Bid shall be the sum total of the unit prices for one (1) each of the specified products in Attachment “A,” which shall include all applicable costs.

Roof Repair/ Jail ------ St.Tammany Parish Jail Building A (Base Bid) roof repair and re-roofing and Building C (Alternate No. 1) roof repair and restoration. The front portion of the roof on Building A, approximately 18,858 sq. ft., shall be removed and replaced. The existing parapet walls shall be encased in metal flashing to cover up the existing exposed CMU wall system. The roof of Building C, approximately 30,000 sq.ft, shall be repaired and restored.
