35781800 WTP SCADA Upgrade
The selected firm will evaluate and review the existing SCDA and network system for the City of Findlay’s Water Treatment Plant. As well as all process control, development of appropriate back up procedures as well as an efficient method of changing over to local control of each of the process control units. The firm will make recommendations of communication improvements with the plant and all satellite sites. An evaluation of process controls at the reservoir sites will need to be completed as well as recommendations of appropriate upgrades. To include but not limited to additional data points to be monitored at the reservoir location.
Upon completion of the evaluation, on-site interviews, and technical discussions a set of recommendations will be developed. The recommendations will include but not limited to the subjects of the overall SCADA supporting networking system architecture, standard hardware and software components and their integration, and data access from off SCADA network system.
The desire is for a modern robust SCADA system that has the potential to grow as technology changes and the plant is modified in years to come. Integration of cameras and tablets will be a plus in the consideration of the new system yet maintaining the security and quality of the current system.

The selected firm shall review the current fire alarm systems at the City of Findlay’s Water Treatment Plant. Propose a replacement solution as necessary for the buildings that meets all current fire code requirements. The vendor should provide all labor, equipment and materials for maintenance and testing in accordance to the State of Ohio Fire Code. Install any/all necessary equipment, complete set-up of systems, perform tests and inspections and provide customer training and owner system manuals including completed drawings to show device locations. Vendor will provide monthly Fire Alarm System monitoring service plan and any/ all necessary permits.
