City of Findlay Water Treatment Plant-Utility Capacity Increase.
At the City of Findlay Water Treatment Plant, when the sand filters at the water treatment are backwashed the water is pumped into an existing 6-inch sanitary sewer that runs along Clinton Court. The sewer does not have the required capacity with backwashing and the sanitary line and manholes surcharges. This project consists of installing a couple of runs of a larger sewer on the west side of the treatment plant to relieve some of the capacity issues. Included in the sewer project, but not limited to, is 22 LF of 8-inch storm sewer, 867 LF of 24-inch storm sewer, storm manhole installations, and asphalt pavement trench repair.
