General Building Job Order Contract (Class B) A Job Order Contract is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor will perform an ongoing series of individual projects at different locations throughout the County of Fresno. The bid documents include a Construction Task Catalog® containing construction tasks with preset Unit Prices. All Unit Prices are based on local labor prevailing wages, material and equipment prices and are for the direct cost of construction. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 19, 2023 and will be replayed on December 3, 2024 for the purpose of discussing the Job Order Contract concept, documents, bid considerations and to discuss Job Order Contracting from a contractor’s viewpoint. The MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held online (the link for which will be posted at https://www.fresnocountyca.gov).

CSA 1 Tamarack Water Infrastructure Replacement The work to be done consists, in general, of installing approximately 3,900 feet of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) water main along with the necessary appurtenances, replacing the function of the existing asbestos cement pipelines. The project also includes installing approximately 45 service connections with meters and meter boxes and installing five fire hydrants. This project contains additives including removing the existing storage tank and installing a new storage tank with other necessary appurtenances within the same site, and installing pavement overlays in the project area.

DBH Olive Ave Roof Replacement and Façade Repairs The work to be done, in general, consists of replacing the existing roof and repairing the existing exterior brick wall facade and concrete tilt-up panels of the Department of Behavioral Health building, covering approximately 115,000 square feet, located at 5555 E. Olive Avenue, Fresno, CA, 93727.

Elkhorn Recharge Facility The work consists of, in general, of the construction of an approximately sixty-acre recharge basin and stockpile area at the site including basin excavation, compacted stockpile placement, placement of excess basin material, conveyance channel excavation, cast-in-place and precast concrete structures, furnishing and installing slides gates, propeller meters, rubber gasketed reinforced concrete pipe (RGRCP), County road crossing, and all other miscellaneous items to complete the work described in the Plans and Specifications to provide for a fully functioning recharge basin.

Environmental Compliance Center Educational Building The work to be done consists, in general, of the construction of a single-story building constructed with pre-engineered metal structures and fenestrated with insulated metal panels and pre-finished aluminum doors and glazings. Covering approximately 3,000 square feet, it will offer space for various functions such as an education room, a general office, an executive office, a break room, two unisex restrooms, a storage and janitor room, and a hallway with drinking fountains. The site will provide six parking stalls, two of which will be accessible, along with an accessible pathway leading to an existing on-site bus stop.
