Caldwell Lab and Dreese Lab Roof Replacements (REBID)

Renovation of three operating room suites. Upgrades include wall finishes, replacing existing ceramic tile with full height wall protection, and electrical work. New ceiling hung medical booms are planned to replace the existing including medical gases, electrical and structural work. New AV pathways will be provided for new equipment. Sprinklerand fire alarm work will be required for renovation work.Provide CO2 in ORs and tie into existing manifold in Rhodes/Doan Hall.

Bid Package No. 1 – BUCK HOIST PACKAGE The complete scope of Work for Bid Package No. 1 shall include the erection, operation, and subsequent dismantling and removal or the Man/Material Hoist System and associated roof scaffolding system. The work of this Bid Package includes the removal of existing curtainwall as required to provide adequate passage of man-power and materials into the building; building a weather and air tight, fully insulated enclosure to protect the opening created by the removal of the curtainwall system; storage of the removed curtainwall sections and glazing; followed by reinstallation of the curtainwall system and removal of the weathertight enclosure at the completion of the Bid Package 2 Work.
