Complete demolition of north wing of Evans Lab, the 1969 (northern most) addition of the facility. The remaining site will become temporary green space.
Utilities serving adjacent wings will be maintained, including but not limited to natural gas, heating and domestic hot water, steam, domestic cold water, electric, fire alarm and ERRCS systems, and will be capped/terminated at appropriate locations to allow for re-use in subsequent project phases.
A metal panel wall enclosure and interior hollow metal doors will be added to the remaining facility.

Provide new diesel generator with sub-base fuel tank, and multiple automatic transfer switches for the separation of life-safety and stand-by electrical distribution systems. The generator will be located exterior of Mershon Auditorium and Wexner Center.
