The project consists of new manual fire alarm systems, hazardous material abatement of duct and pipe insulation, mudded fittings, ceiling and floor tiles, and the associated material replacement, and architectural patching and finishes in 9 buildings on OSU’s main campus: Agricultural Administration Building, Atwell Hall, Campbell Hall, Denney Hall, (Alternate 1) Enarson Classroom Building, Electroscience Lab, Sisson Hall, University Hall, Scott Hall. The existing fire alarm system in each building will be removed completely after the approval of the new system.

This project involves the removal and replacement of all existing windows; removal and replacement of a portion of the existing entrance doors; the removal and replacement of existing floor finishes in corridors and stairs; painting of corridor walls; and the installation of new room identification signs.

The work consists of the modernization of three (3) traction elevators, one each in Hitchcock Hall, the Mathematics Building, and Scott Hall. The work will include minor general trades work and upgrades to associated mechanical and electrical systems necessary for the elevator improvements.

The Project renovates portions of the lower level and second floor of Celeste Laboratory. The work includes selective demolition of existing partitions; providing partitions to demark and subdivide new rooms; and develops new labs and offices.

The project scope covers the renovation of existing interior spaces for a new Executive Office Suite for the Dean of The Ohio State University, Newark Campus. The areas to be remodeled comprise approximately 1,550 square feet. Existing walls, doors, finishes, electric and HVAC systems will be removed.
