Drainage – Cleaning & Maintenance Counties: Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes, Nantucket, Worcester, Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin & Berkshire The project consists of cleaning and/or investigation of DCR drainage infrastructure. Typically, work shall include, during regular and emergency response times, the cleaning of catch basin and manhole structures with a vacuum truck, high pressure water jetting of drainage lines, and CCTV investigation. This project shall also include cured-in-place lining & the removal and disposal of all sediments in compliance with the regulations of the Department of Environmental Protection in effect at the time of disposal. The estimated project cost is $ $4,000,000.00 The work is to be accomplished within 730 calendar days of a notice to proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500 per day will be assessed if the work has not been completed in accordance with the provisions of the contract within the time specified (as extended by any authorized extension of time granted in accordance with the contract provisions). Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT) Highway Division in Catch Basin Cleaning to bid on the above project. An award will not be made to a Contractor who is not pre-qualified by MassDOT prior to the opening of Proposals. Collins Pond Dam Improvements Andover, MA The project consists of rehabilitation of Collins Pond Dam including: Removal of unwanted vegetation at the dam; Embankment improvements at the dam inclusive of installing riprap upstream slope protection, regarding of the crest to uniform elevation and width, regrading of the downstream slope, modification to the core wall along the upstream slope, installation of a downstream wall with drain system, and establishing grassed surfaces and pathways along the embankment slope; replacement of the low level outlet system at the dam; Replacement of the spillway training walls and installation of a downstream apron; Installation of miscellaneous site features; Installation of an ADA accessible canoe launch and dock at Field Pond; Improvement of the fire road and additional parking east of the dam; Expansion of parking to the west of the dam; Other work items as identified within the contract documents.
