Hoover Drive & Lawes St. Improvements---------------The work specified in this project will require the contractor to provide labor, equipment, and materials necessary to improve the roadway surface by milling and overlaying approximately 3,900 linear feet of asphaltic concrete along Hoover Dr and approximately 1,970 linear feet of asphaltic concrete along Lawes St. The project will also include the installation of surbsurface drainage improvements, as well as radius improvements at the intersection of Hoover Dr and Lawes St, in addition to new striping and replacment of signage. This work, as specified in these documents and construction plans, is located along Hoover Dr (R08M007) Section 12-13, Township 9S, Range 14E, and Lawes St (R08M005) Section 12, Township 9S, Range 14E, Slidell, LA 70461.

Safe Haven Renovations Quad A Asbestos Abatement ----- The abatement of ACM (floor tile, drywall walls and drywall ceilings) and the selected demolition of millwork and other building components, per the plans and specifications (Attachment “A”). All demolition activity shall follow the applicable, federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations. Contractor shall be responsible for removal, transportation and disposal of the demolition debris in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations governing demolition and the demolition of structures containing hazardous substances. Project requires a Building Construction License and Hazardous Materials License. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a well known technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded. Contract time shall be 45 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. All labor, supervision, materials, services, supplies, equipment, permits, transportation and disposal fees required to complete the work, per the plans and specifications (Attachment “A”), shall be included in the lump sum bid.
