The NERC Perimeter Protection Project includes the demolition of the existing perimeter retaining wall in the guest parking lot, demolition of the top course of asphalt of the guest parking lot, installation of a new top course of asphalt and the installation of a new retaining wall, sidewalk with bollards and landscaping. Inside the institution, the project also includes the construction of an outdoor volleyball/pickle ball court, hardscape for a therapy court between the existing Infirmary building and the Infirmary addition under construction, demolition of an existing walkway and construction of a replacement and new walkway.

DRC-21L002 SCI Smoke Stack Removal
The work consists of the removal of approximately 847 square feet of building demolition at: smokestack, brick storage shed, and connector; and alterations in the Power Plant. Selective demolition also includes the removal of the connector exterior ductwork from the smokestack to the existing power plant exterior wall, infill of the breeching ductwork opening, minor mechanical and electrical connections to repair and tie-ins. Modifications to existing boiler #3 are to rework ductwork transition to new roof penetrating flue and associated roof structure, mechanical and electrical systems work. Abatement scope is limited to door and window openings in small brick storage shed.
