This project will complete several exterior envelope repairs to the Rod Library. Work to done includes patching and repair of the existing roof membrane, replacement of insulated glass units at the south pavilion, wet sealing at the exterior curtainwall glazing, replacing sealant at exterior curtainwalls, cleaning building exterior, repairing brick and mortar at selected locations and repainting selected exposed structural steel.

This project will replace a section of breeching from the outlet of the Boiler #3 Baghouse to the vertical breeching section above Boiler #3 ID Fan. The section of ductwork includes replacement of a flex joint and access catwalk in addition to the breeching.

Remove and dispose of select exterior windows. Install new windows and repair/restore interior finishes and exterior masonry as required. Interior finishes include stone and wood sills, drywall, plaster and tile jambs. Exterior masonry includes brick and limestone masonry.

Removal and replacement of the existing concrete topping slab for the Gilchrist Hall Pedestrian Bridge. Work also includes miscellaneous repairs of bridge precast tee beams. Removal and reinstallation of existing light poles and hand railings will be required. Installation of new electrical service to bridge lighting is also included.

Project involves a complete roof replacement including drain bowls, roof insulation, roof membrane, walkway pads, and perimeter flashings. Also included is the removal of selective rooftop mechanical equipment and associated electrical and mechanical scope, removal of existing mechanical curbs, modification of exiting masonry chimneys, infilling of abandoned roof openings, and the removal/replacement of existing copper roof pans and stepped flashing at breezeway roofs
