Miscellaneous steam distribution system piping repairs in utility Tunnel T-2. Repairs include removal, replacement, installation, and relocation of expansion joints and isolation valves, installation and modifications to pipe anchors, guides, and support structures. Remove and replace pipe insulation and jacketing as required.

The project will renovate the ground floor of the Innovative Teaching and Technology Center (ITTC) for use of advanced nursing courses. This renovation will provide advanced simulation spaces for education in the nursing program targeted at improving competency of nursing students. Students will receive hands-on experience with patients as well as high fidelity simulation experiences necessary to prepare them for real world experience.

This project involves preparation, rust treatment and repainting of exterior steel for Hagemann Hall, Rider Hall, Shull Hall and Noehren Hall Skywalks connecting the residence halls to the Redeker Center. Additional work includes preparation, rust treatment and repainting of the North and South Entry Canopies and structure on Redeker Hall. Miscellaneous additional work includes replacement of ADA door remote operator mounting plate, select insect screen replacement and installation of bird deterrent wire mesh screens. Preparation work for repainting may include pressure washing, hand and power tool preparation and commercial blast preparation of exterior surfaces. New paint installation included sealant replacement, priming and finish coat application.

Project includes the removal and replacement of existing gutter liner with a new EPDM gutter liner and associated sheet metal flashings as well as minor tie-in with adjacent EPDM roof membrane. Removal and reinstallation of electric heat tape will be required to accomplish this work. Project also includes the cleaning of efflorescence from approximately 50 SF of existing brick.

The Phase 2.1 of this project includes new general and premium seating throughout the Dome, in addition to new Suites. Total seating count will approximately be about 12,000 seats. Aisles will be widened with handrails, and seats will be wider. Seating counts and accessibility will be in compliance with ADA. There will be structural, architectural and some infrastructure design in the premium seating areas. This phase will also include an elevator on the west side of the Dome.
