This project consists of sealant, masonry, and concrete repair work. Existing damage has been caused by age, deterioration, moisture intrusion, freeze/thaw cycles, and limited subsidence of flatwork. Sealant joint replacement, solid surface epoxy repairs, concrete patching, repointing of existing brick, replacement of damaged brick, and removal and replacement of flatwork to existing joints will be project requirements. There are four (4) areas requiring attention.

Reconstruction of Wisconsin Street and adjacent sidewalks.

This project located on the NE side of Rider Hall will provide a much needed new entrance canopy for this location. The existing canopy has been removed. The new canopy will have new exposed structural steel, an EPDM roof membrane and cable tie backs to the existing wall. Existing brick masonry will be patched back to match the existing construction.

Replacement of the existing fabric roof with a new PTFE fiberglass membrane while keeping the existing cable and other existing fabric support structure. In addition to the roof replacement, a new fall protection system is to be installed to provide access to all roof levels. The existing waterproofing at entrance canopies, lower & upper gutter, ring beam and cupola is to be replaced or repaired with new waterproofing.

Replacement of the pumps and existing valves in Rider Hall heating system including additional valves so that sections of the heating system can be shut down rather than the entire system when it needs to be worked on.
