This project consists of the replacement of the water main in Morrical Boulevard between Bliss Ave. and Lima Ave. and in Lima Avenue between Morrical Blvd. and Byal Ave. The project will include but not be limited to approximately 3,929 LF of 12-inch C900 waterline, 224 LF of 8-inch C900 waterline, 82 LF of 6-inch C900 waterline, 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch connections, ten fire hydrants and various fittings. Abandoning of the existing water system including removal of valves and fire hydrants, grading & seeding, maintenance of traffic and asphalt pavement repair, as required, are also included. The existing system must remain in service until the system is complete, including service connections by City forces. Rock excavation will be required. Estimated Cost: $1,194,400

The proposed Design-Build Project is the renovations of the Municipal Courtrooms in Findlay City Hall. The courtrooms were first constructed in 1984. Renovations include but are not limited to: judges bench area including security, jury box, judicial assistant, flooring, ceiling including acoustical tiles, casework throughout, gallery area, ADA accessibility issues and refinishing of doors and gallery pews. Architectural renderings of all work shall be included for approval prior to construction. There are two courtrooms requiring identical services; however, one courtroom shall remain functional at all times.

Sherry Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement This project consists of removing 257 feet of an existing 18” sanitary sewer pipe and replacing with SDR26 on Sherry Street from the first manhole south of Sixth Street North. A new manhole will be set 50 feet South of the existing manhole on the North side of Sixth Street. The sanitary sewer needs to be operational each night. There are also 7 laterals that will need to be tied in to this section of the new sanitary sewer. This project will also include a 10-foot spot repair on the existing 12” sanitary sewer on Sherry Street from the manhole North of Pearl Street to the next manhole North. This section of 12” sanitary sewer pipe will be replaced with SDR35. There are 2 laterals to reconnected in this section. Bidders are advised to visit the site before turning in price. If needed the Engineering Department will be available to meet on site to go over any specific questions. Bidders are advised to pay close attention to the specific details in the Supplemental Specifications and Pay Item Descriptions. Item descriptions detail all that is included with each pay item as well as pay limits for certain items. During construction, maintenance of traffic and access to local businesses and residences will be major concerns for the City, contractor, and adjacent property owners. This project is located within the City of Findlay corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection. Bidders shall be aware of any required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the State Prevailing Wages that apply to this project. After the bid date, contracts will be awarded as soon as possible in order to expedite securing materials and beginning construction. Specific Notes: 1. The existing 18” sanitary sewer is roughly 16 FT deep at the downstream manhole and 15 FT deep at the upstream manhole. 2. Sanitary service must be maintained during the project. City of Findlay HAN-Greenway Trail Phase III, PID117097 This project consists of construction of the Blanchard River Greenway Trail extension along State Route 568 in the City of Findlay from the intersection of County Road 236 to Riverbend Park. Project consists of 1.5 miles of 10 FT. multi-use trail, including 0.15 miles along TR241 of striped multi-use roadway to tie into the existing path. Project includes 64-ft length prefabricated bridge. The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. City of Findlay Specifications and Standard Drawings shall also be adhered to where applicable and are available at the City of Findlay Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Findlay, OH 45840. Federal prevailing wages shall apply. The DBE goal for this project is 6%. **SPECIAL NOTE FOR BIDDERS: DBE UTILIZATION PLAN All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the DBE goal.
