Cold Storage Building D/B Qualifications

SMALL WATERLINE UPGRADES
This project consists of installing a new 6-inch C909 waterlines on Allen Avenue, Midland Avenue, Garfield Avenue and George Street from Main Street to the railroad to the East and in the North/South alley running from Allen Avenue to Garfield Avenue. The new waterline will need to be directional drilled underneath Main Street at all four intersections. This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 5,435 LF of 6-inch C909 waterline, 260 LF of 6-inch directional drill, full depth pavement repair, waterline tie-ins, waterline abandonments, fire hydrant removal, hydrant replacement, misc. fittings and seeding and mulching.
This project is funded by City of Findlay Water Fund Funds as well as Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Grants. Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the Davis Bacon Wages that apply to this project. Domestic steel use requirements also apply to this project as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code. A copy of Section 153.011 can be obtained from any office of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services.

City of Findlay Airport Runway 7-25 PAPI and REIL Lighting System Replacement
The scope of this project includes removal and replacement of existing PAPI and REIL equipment on existing foundations and wiring. The existing PAPI Lighting System needs replacement due to the consistent maintenance needs and the age of the equipment. The existing REIL System is currently non-functional due to the lightning strike.
The specific work elements include the following:

- Installation of new conduit for PAPI wiring

This contract is for asphalt work only, consisting of pavement planning (approximately 34,221 SY) and asphalt resurfacing (approximately 1,732 CY) on various streets within the City of Findlay or Hancock County. The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. City of Findlay Specifications and Standard Drawings shall also be adhered to where applicable and are available at the City of Findlay Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Findlay, OH 45840.
The project is funded through the City of Findlay’s Capital Improvements Fund. State prevailing wages and the City of Findlay income taxes shall apply.

City of Findlay 2023 Sewer and Manhole Lining Program
The project consists of no-dig rehabilitation of several deteriorating sanitary sewer lines and Manholes in the City of Findlay (hereinafter referred to as “City”). Incidental to the lining shall be the reinstatement of sewer service laterals without excavation.
The Base Bid includes several sewer and manhole locations in different areas of the City. Some sewer lines and manholes to be lined are in close proximity of each other while others are somewhat isolated. The sizes to be lined include 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch sewers. Bidders are requested to provide a unit price per foot based on the size of host pipe and a unit price per vertical liner foot for manholes. If sizes, lengths, depths or any other changes significantly differ from the provided information, the City will work with the Contractor to make accurate price adjustments.
