SMALL WATERLINE UPGRADES This project consists of installing a new 6-inch C909 waterlines on Allen Avenue, Midland Avenue, Garfield Avenue and George Street from Main Street to the railroad to the East and in the North/South alley running from Allen Avenue to Garfield Avenue. The new waterline will need to be directional drilled underneath Main Street at all four intersections. This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 5,435 LF of 6-inch C909 waterline, 260 LF of 6-inch directional drill, full depth pavement repair, waterline tie-ins, waterline abandonments, fire hydrant removal, hydrant replacement, misc. fittings and seeding and mulching. This project is funded by City of Findlay Water Fund Funds as well as Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Grants. Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the Davis Bacon Wages that apply to this project. Domestic steel use requirements also apply to this project as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code. Item #26 - Fire Hydrants - The City of Findlay is accepting proposals for Fire Hydrants for the period January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

City of Findlay 2024 Annual Resurfacing Program-Contract A (Concrete) PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project consists of nearly 22,458 (LF) of curb removal and replacement on various streets within the City of Findlay in Hancock County. Incidental items include necessary sidewalk or curb ramp replacement (approximately 19,861 SF), concrete drive replacement (approximately 1,489 SY), adjustment of manholes and catch basins, grading and seeding. Other minor work is described in the details for each segment of roadway. The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. City of Findlay Specifications and Standard Drawings shall also be adhered to where applicable and are available at the City of Findlay Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Findlay, OH 45840. The project is funded through the City of Findlay’s Capital Improvements Fund. State prevailing wages and the City of Findlay income taxes shall apply. The project will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bidder based on the Grand Total Price of the Base Bid and any accepted Alternates as selected by the City of Findlay. City of Findlay HAN-Findlay Bigelow Avenue, PID117611 This project consists of nearly 7,100 linear feet of curb removal and replacement and/or pavement planning (approximately 28,300 SY) and resurfacing (approximately 1,571 CY) on Bigelow Avenue within the City of Findlay and Hancock County. Incidental items include necessary sidewalk or curb ramp replacement (approximately 2,405 SF), treatment of shoulders, adjustment catch basins, and grading and seeding. Other minor work is described in the details for each segment of pavement. The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. City of Findlay Specifications and Standard Drawings shall also be adhered to where applicable and are available at the City of Findlay Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Findlay, OH 45840. Federal prevailing wages shall apply. The DBE goal for this project is 7%. All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the DBE goal. By submitting a DBE Utilization Plan, the Bidder is affirming that they will be using the DBE firms identified in the Utilization Plan to meet the DBE contract goal. City of Findlay 2023 Sewer and Manhole Lining Program The project consists of no-dig rehabilitation of several deteriorating sanitary sewer lines and Manholes in the City of Findlay (hereinafter referred to as “City”). Incidental to the lining shall be the reinstatement of sewer service laterals without excavation. The Base Bid includes several sewer and manhole locations in different areas of the City. Some sewer lines and manholes to be lined are in close proximity of each other while others are somewhat isolated. The sizes to be lined include 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch sewers. Bidders are requested to provide a unit price per foot based on the size of host pipe and a unit price per vertical liner foot for manholes. If sizes, lengths, depths or any other changes significantly differ from the provided information, the City will work with the Contractor to make accurate price adjustments.
