City of Findlay HAN-Interstate & FHS Trail, PID115232
Construct a multi-use path in the City of Findlay that will link to the existing and under design multiuse paths. The Interstate Trail section will begin at the southwest corner of Broad Avenue and Howard Street and at the rear entrance to Walmart. The FHS Trail section will start at the northwest corner of Broad Avenue and Howard Street and end at the north entrance to Findlay High School, which also aligns with Foulke Avenue.
The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. City of Findlay Specifications and Standard Drawings shall also be adhered to where applicable and are available at the City of Findlay Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Findlay, OH 45840. Federal prevailing wages shall apply.
The DBE goal for this project is 7%.
All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the DBE goal. By submitting a DBE Utilization Plan, the Bidder is affirming that they will be using the DBE firms identified in the Utilization Plan to meet the DBE contract goal. The DBE Utilization Plan shall be submitted online at:https://odot.formstack.com/forms/dbe_copy
This project will include an optional bid for the multiuse path material. Option A will include an asphalt and concrete 10-ft wide multiuse path, and option B will include all concrete 10-ft wide multiuse path. One Option must be selected when bidding, this project will be awarded off of the lowest base bid price utilizing Option A or Option B.
Final Completion: on or before August 8, 2025

City of Findlay Airport Runway 7-25 Rehabilitate Runway 7-25
This project will rehabilitate Runway 7-25 consisting of 5,883 feet by 100 feet, Runway 7 displaced threshold of 324 feet by 100 feet, Runway 25 displaced threshold of 999 feet by 100 feet, design a conforming turnaround runway 25 end, select portions of the associated taxiway connector system, and replacement of the High Intensity Runway Lights. This rehabilitation will include cold milling, and re-paving of the runway, isolated pavement repair, drainage and electrical improvements, seal coating a portion of the runway intersection and new pavement markings.
Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Findlay Airport Terminal Building located at 1615 Gary Street, Findlay, OH 45840.
This project has a DBE goal of 3.99% and a WBE goal of 6.9%

BLANCHARD STREET WATERLINE REPLACEMENT, PHASE II (OPWC)
This project consists of installing a new 16-inch C905 waterline on South Blanchard Street, running along the east side of the roadway, from Sixth Street to E. Hobart Ave.
This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 2,705 LF of 16-inch C905 waterline, 30 LF of 8-inch C909 waterline, 50 LF of 6-inch C909 waterline, full depth pavement repair, waterline tie-ins, waterline abandonments, fire hydrant removal, hydrant replacement, misc. fittings, seeding and mulching.
This project is funded by City of Findlay Water Funds as well as Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC). Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the State Prevailing Wages that apply to this project. Domestic steel use requirements also apply to this project as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code. A copy of Section 153.011 can be obtained from any office of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services.

West Park Sanitary Sewer Extension- Newell Street
The base bid consists of installing a new 8-inch sanitary sewer on Newell St and a section on the north side of Lima Ave running towards Blaine Ave. Included in the base bid, but not limited to, is the addition of new service laterals for residents, sanitary structures, rock excavation, asphalt trench repair, sidewalk replacement, grading, and seeding. The base bid consists of installing 667 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer and 134 LF of 6-inch sanitary sewer. The majority of the new sanitary line will be under pavement sections and will need premium backfill.

This project consists of the widening of Township Road 230 between and County Road 212 and Township Road 99 as well as a sanitary sewer along TR 99 from Howard Run Ditch to TR 230. The project widening is from 2-lanes to 3-lanes with the addition of a fourth lane at CR 212. The project also includes installing storm sewer and concrete curb & gutter the length of the TR 230 project.
