IFB 20-02, 2020 Caddo Parish Road Treatment Program
PROJECT CLASSIFICATION: Highway, Street and Bridge Construction
SCOPE OF PROJECT: This work consists of providing all materials, labor and equipment required for the rehabilitation and asphaltic concrete overlay of approximately 40 miles of rural roads throughout Caddo Parish. Work includes, but is not limited to, milling of existing asphalt road surfaces, sub-grade lime stabilization, sub-grade cement stabilization, superpave asphaltic concrete, asphalt roadway patching, asphalt leveling, asphaltic concrete overlay, pavement markings/striping, shoulder surface aggregate with all associated work as described in the contract documents.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on Tuesday , March 31 , 2020 at 10:00 A.M. IN THE CADDO PARISH PUBLIC WORKS CONFERENCE ROOM, GOVERNMENT PLAZA, 505 TRAVIS STREET, 8TH FLOOR, SUITE 820, SHREVEPORT, LA. Sign-in will be between 9:30 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. PROJECT NAME: Caddo Community Action Agency (CCAA) – Retaining Wall – 4055 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana
PROJECT CLASSIFICATION: Building Construction
The general scope of the Project is as follows: All improvements to the existing site as indicated on the drawings. This shall include the addition of a new reinforced concrete retaining wall, new storm drainage system, and other related improvements. Scope of Work shall include, but not be limited to: site clearing and demolition, earthwork and grading, temporary sheeting and shoring, underground storm drainage structures, reinforced concrete retaining wall, concrete drainage flume, chain-link fencing, turf establishment, and all other related items as required to provide the improvements shown on the drawings complete and in-place. The Work shall consist of furnishing materials, equipment, and tools; the performance of all necessary labor; and performance of all work appurtenant to the project.
