Whitnall Park Pump Station project proposes to furnish and install a new pump station to service the Whitnall Park Golf Course Irrigation System. The pump will be installed in the existing pumphouse. In addition, the contractor will also be responsible for furnishing and installing the proposed 12" water main to connect with an existing 8" main using appropriate connections and thrust blocking, in accordance with the plans and specifications. After construction, the contractor shall be responsible to provide restoration to improvement and access areas damaged during the project’s installation. Breakwater Construction; 575 Linear Feet of Stone Revetment, and 37,100 SF (0.85 AC) of fill material (stone) placed into Lake Michigan to maintain a revetment for the purpose of erosion control at the North Point Parking Lot next to Bradford Beach. Optional Pre-Bid Meeting: Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at 10AM. Meet outside at the North Point Parking Lot near the Concession Stand (Moosa’s). This onsite walkthrough and meeting on Monday is for contractors to visualize project. This meeting is to explain requirements and ask questions.

This project includes pavement rehabilitation or pavement removals on multiple taxiways at Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE). Included in this contract is substantial grading, construction of underdrains, asphalt, landscaping, pavement marking, and airfield electrical changes. Project Completion: If the Base Bid and all two (2) additive alternates are awarded, the contractor shall have a total of 172 consecutive calendar days to substantially complete the project, excluding punchlist. If any or all additive alternatives are not awarded, the total contract time shall be as follows: Base Bid Only = 111 Calendar Days Base Bid + Additive Alternative 1 = 111 Calendar Days Base Bid + Additive Alternative 1 + Additive Alternative 2 = 172 Calendar Days All contract time includes 31 days for a project shutdown from July 1 through July 31, 2024. Work of the project includes milling the existing asphalt pavement, re-grading, and providing new asphalt pavement, provide new concrete curb and gutter, remove and provide concrete sidewalk and curb ramps, and replace storm sewer covers indicated in the project Bid documents.
