The intent of this Contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the Work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the Work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract.
This project generally consists of extending the existing 16″ PVC water line and 24″ PVC gravity waste water line on East McNeese Street to the east approximately 2,143 linear feet and 1,836 linear feet respectively.
The project will include the following items of work:
1. Clearing and grubbing;
2. Construction of a new water line and gravity waste water lines and appurtenances;
3. Removal and construction of permanent fencing;
4. Site grading and hydroseeding;
5. Pressure and leak testing of new waste water facilities and water lines and disinfection and Health Department water testing of the new water line.
