Prien Lake Road Sewer – Heard Road to Burton Lane City of Lake Charles, Louisiana The general scope of work for this project includes the construction of a new sewer lift station on the north side of W. Prien Lake Road, approximately 300 feet West of Heard Road. The force main from this new sewer lift station will be routed easterly in acquired utility servitudes to a receiving sewer manhole at the NW corner of Nelson and W. Prien Lake Road. A new 12” diameter gravity sewer line will extend westerly approximately 1500 feet within an acquired utility servitude on the north side of W. Prien Lake Road.

CITY OF LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA CHENNAULT AFB 12” WATER LOOP CAPITAL PROJECT NUMBER 3350 Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents for the Chennault AFB 12” Water Line Extension project. The Work includes but is not limited to the construction and installation of approximately 2,300 linear feet of 12-inch and 14-inch waterline as required to reinstate service to multiple arteries within the Chennault AFB property that were previously severed. The intent being to reinstate potable water service, primarily fire flow capacity, to better serve the immediate community.

Removal and replacement of all fixtures including toilets, lavatories, partitions, and accessories along with all finishes including the ceiling grid and light fixtures. 2. The renovation of the (2) existing shower stalls and mop sink. The mop sink will be abandoned, and walls relocated to take in this space and provide larger shower stalls. 3. The single restroom off the apparatus bay will receive new fixtures and finishes to match the interior restroom. 4. The ice machine in the bay will be relocated from the space formerly used as a janitor closet to the area adjacent to the electric water cooler in the bay.

This work shall be performed by utilizing various methods, including point repairs, cured in place pipe lining (CIPP), pipe bursting methods and related work. The disturbed surface areas shall be restored to meet or exceed present conditions prior to the commencement of construction activities.

City of Lake Charles, Louisiana North Beach Restroom Replacement PR 0002 This scope of work involves replacement of the two storm damaged restroom buildings located at north beach. The design shall include new plumbing piping set in a new concrete foundation. New construction concept shall consist of a new design layout which shall be on a new fill and foundation which will raise the finished floor to code required elevations. The new building shall be built on a new concrete slab and finish to be determined in final design to limit building maintenance, slip resistance and all other code compliance. Walls shall be masonry with galvanized structural steel framing, metal decking and standing seam metal roofing. Each restroom shall have code required plumbing fixtures rated for vandal resistance and the building shall also meet all ADA codes and requirements. Outdoor showers shall also be incorporated into the design. The structure shall also have security doors/gates to lock down the units when the park/beach is closed to the public.

City of Lake Charles, Louisiana Wastewater Treatment Plant D Disinfection Facility Improvements Capital Project No. 3404 Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles owns and operates the Wastewater Treatment Plant D, located at 3820 Tank Farm Rd. In the draft permit renewals for each facility, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) introduced a new effluent discharge limitation for Enterococci bacteria. Manchac has consulted with the existing disinfection equipment manufacturer and determined that the equipment will not meet the new Enterococci limits as mandated by DEQ. This project will include the removal and replacement of the existing disinfection treatment equipment with a new Sodium Hypochlorite and Sodium Bisulfite disinfection basin. Work includes the construction of a new contact basin, new sodium hypochlorite storage building, renovations to an existing sodium bisulfite building, installation of new gravity sewer, and misc. piping.
