I. Scope of Services:
Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents for the Southwest Water Treatment Plant – Back-Up Power Improvements project. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Removal and Replacement of the Existing Stand-By Generator with Two (2) Parallel 600kW Stand-By Diesel Generators complete with 2,500A, 480VAC, 3PH Paralleling Switchgear.
• Removal and Disposal of the Existing Manual Transfer Switch and Replacement with 2,500A, 480VAC Delayed Transition Automatic Transfer Switch.
• Installation of Low Voltage Panelboard for Supply to Generator Appurtenances.
• Interconnections to Owner’s SCADA for Generator Monitoring.
• Miscellaneous Civil and Electrical Work as Required to Complete the Work.

(d) The installation of the drainage system consisting of approximately 204 linear feet of 18 diameter RCP, 8 each CB-01 drop inlets and 160 linear feet of 18” diameter corrugated metal pipe;
(e) The construction of 6" thick compacted stone aggregate driveways at two locations.

Provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to complete the installation of all work shown on the plans and specifications.
Project Summary:
Modified Roof Area
1. Remove existing roof membrane and related sheet metal items down to the wood deck.
2. Repair wood deck as required.
3. Remove drain bowl and drain lines. Close holes with 16 galvanized sheet metal.
4. Loose lay red rosin sheet.
5. Install specified insulation (3” Polyisocyanurate Insulation) with fasteners.
6. Install tapered insulation (1/4” : 12” per foot slope) and recovery board (Six Sided Asphalt Impregnated Wood Fiber) in hot asphalt.
7. Install two-ply, high performance Type III SBS Modified roofing system with granulated surface.
8. Install new metal flashings, expansion joint covers and prefabricated metal edge assembly.
9. Fabricate and install new gutters and downspouts.
10. Provide and install new soffit panel system around perimeter of building.
11. Provide and install sheet metal around existing wood beams.
12. Contractor responsible for all electrical and mechanical work required to complete the specified work. Work may include raising curbs and air conditioning units.
Shingle Roof Area
1. Remove existing shingles and related sheet metal items down to the wood deck.
2. Repair and replace any damaged or rotten decking. Secure loose decking as required.
3. Install specified base sheet over wood deck prior to installing shingles.
4. Set starter shingles in flashing cement.
5. Fabricate and install new drip edge.
6. Fabricate and install new vents.
7. Install new 30 year architectural shingles.
8. Shingle installation shall not commence until modified roof assembly is completed.
9. Issue specified warranty.

12th Street Pavement Repair

The general scope of work includes removal and replacement of approximately 175 linear feet of existing roadway pavement, base, and subgrade material on 12th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue. The existing subgrade soils are exhibiting swelling characteristics. The distressed pavement and poor subgrade material shall be removed and replaced with #610 stone base material and new concrete pavement. Roadway and impacted drives, walks, and drainage will be repaired.

Scope of Services:
• The City of Lake Charles Wastewater Division owns and operates the Cline, Colletta, and Bank Street Lift Stations. Wastewater Division personnel have indicated that at a minimum the following items must be addressed as part of the rehabilitation project:
1. Remove existing pumps and replace with new submersible pumps, remove existing electrical and controls and replace / relocate with new, remove existing piping and valves and replace with new, remove existing valve vault and wet well riser and replace with new – Bank Street Lift Station ONLY.
2. Clean, repair, and coat the wet wells, install hurricane fencing with green slats, and install permanent bypass connection – at EACH lift station.

a. The directional drill installation of approximately 610 linear feet of new 1.5 inch diameter DR-9 HDPE low pressure sewer force main
b. The directional drill installation of approximately 446.linear feet of new 2 inch diameter DR-11 HDPE low pressure sewer force main
c. The directional drill installation of approximately 820 linear feet of new 3 inch diameter DR-7 HDPE low pressure sewer force main
d. The installation of 4 each 2 inch gate valve flush stations
e. The connection of the force main to an existing stub pipe at a manhole located at Locke Lane and Henderson Bayou Road
This project is for the installation of the low pressure sewer force main and appurtenances only. The connections and installation of lateral lines and grinder pump stations are the responsibility of the individual residents.

(a) The directional drill installation of approximately 811 linear feet
of new 12” diameter DR-11 HDPE water line with associated
appurtenances.
(b) The open cut installation of approximately 330 linear feet of
new 12” diameter DR-18 PVC water line with associated
appurtenances.
(c) The directional drill installation of approximately 436 linear feet
of new 12” diameter DR-11 HDPE sanitary sewer line.
(d) The open cut installation of approximately 170 linear feet of
new 8” diameter SDR-26 PVC sanitary sewer line.
(e) The installation of 5 new sanitary sewer manholes.
(f) The directional drill installation of approximately 5960 linear
feet of new 3” diameter DR-13.5 HDPE conduit to include pull
wire, capped ends, and tracer wire. Utility conduit are grouped
in sets of 4 or 8 conduits. Utility conduit installed under this
contract is for the future use by others under separate contract.
