Guide for vendors/contractors using Bid Express for the first time

The City of San Rafael hereby requests proposals for Professional Services for the City’s Fire Stations 54 & 55 1-INSPECTION OF RECORD SERVICES 2-MATERIAL TESTING & SPECIAL INSPECTION SERVICES 3-GEOTECHNICAL INSPECTION SERVICES Professionals shall be duly registered and licensed for their discipline within the State of California. Work will include: engineering review and support for land development, mainly private development projects, subdivisions (lot line adjustments, major and minor) and site plans (residential, commercial, industrial and mixed use). This may include review of application documents, technical reports, plans and maps, provide written staff reports, attendance at public hearings, meetings with applicants, collaboration with various City departments, the public and stakeholders, scheduling, inspection, and recordkeeping.

The project is located along B St near the intersection of Woodland Ave and consists of removing a 4'x4' concrete box culvert and replacing with a new cast-in-place concrete box culvert of similar dimension. Engineer's Estimate: $270,000 City of San Rafael will accept electronic bid submittals for its B St Culvert Repair Project, by or before October 7, 2021, at 11:00 am, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on a Zoom Meeting. The Project is located along Francisco Boulevard East between Vivian Street and Grand Avenue. The project consists of cold planning, utility adjustments, the resurfacing and restriping of a major arterial in the City of San Rafael. Engineers Estimate is $1,600,000. Remove the following insurance requirements from the General Conditions page 39: 4.3 Insurance (A) Policies and Limits (4) Pollution Liability Insurance and 4.3 Insurance (A) Policies and Limits. (5) Builder’s Risk Insurance

The Project is located at Bungalow Ave and Woodland Avenue is the City of San Rafael. The project includes the construction of curb ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm drain improvements removal and installation of vehicular concrete, cold planning asphalt concrete, resurfacing of the roadway, and installation of new striping. The City of San Rafael hereby issues a Request for Proposals for a consultant or team of professionals to provide professional services to develop a comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This plan will provide a foundation for the future development and maintenance of parks, facilities, and amenities. Specifically, the Master Plan will analyze the use of existing facilities, assess their condition, gather community input, provide recommendations for improvement, and suggest funding/implementation strategies.
