RFP for Environmental and Engineering Services for the South Merrydale Road - Civic Center Connector Pathway Project
The City of San Rafael hereby requests proposals from qualified consultant teams for environmental and engineering services for the South Merrydale Road - Civic Center Connector Pathway Project.
Proposals shall be submitted by consultant teams that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in this Request for Proposal (RFP). In addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources, in the form of trained personnel, support services, specialized Consultants and financial resources, to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings.
Services include the complete design and environmental documentation of the Project including, but not limited to: CEQA and NEPA clearance, civil, electrical, geotechnical, structural, and traffic engineering, grant funding documentation assistance, right-of-way and property acquisition, and outreach support.

San Rafael High School at Third Street Crosswalk Improvements Project
The project is located at San Rafael High School and Third Street, and involves the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon system (HAWK), construction of new curb ramps, curb and gutter, and other miscellaneous flatwork, utility adjustment, storm drain pipe installation, irrigation and landscaping, and installation of signage and striping.
Engineer's Estimate: $470,000
Bid Submission:
The City of San Rafael will accept electronic bid submittals using Bid Express by or before July 29, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on a Zoom Meeting.
