RFQ for Collection System LTCP Amendment
The City of Perrysburg is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQs) for engineering services to perform additional modelling in the recently separated sewer system. Additional flow monitoring and rainfall monitoring may be required. Residual CSOs occur now following the sewer separation program which spanned 25 years and which involved installation of new storm sewers. The old combined sewer system (CSS) is now used as the sanitary sewer system. The original Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) was approved in 1997 although the plan lacked several required elements, such as comparative alternatives and modelling. The City is working with environmental counsel and Ohio EPA to negotiate a schedule to submit an amended LTCP and a corresponding schedule of projects to further reduce residual CSOs. The first objective is to determine the timeline involved in developing a schedule of projects.
