8699- Repairing and Sealing Pavement Cracks - Major Streets 2023

Pulverizing, milling, and paving various streets that are included with the resurfacing program. This contract also includes surface paving of several subdivisions that includes wedge cut grinding butt joints and around SASs, street sweeping, tack and adjusting valve boxes to grade. This contractor shall be required to coordinate with the other contractors performing work on the resurfacing program contracts.

Work included in this contract is asphalt base patching, patch by grind (mill/overlay), citywide, and infrared patching. Contractor may be required to replace temporary patches with permanent HMA patches. On streets that have a pavement rating greater than 6 and on collector and arterial streets patches shall then have the limit extended by mill and overlay per the established patching criteria.

Perform repair work primarily throughout the 12th Aldermanic District. Additional horizontal sawcutting/grinding may be required within the project limits of City of Madison Reconstruction Projects and may be city wide, primarily west of Park St, as part of the Sidewalk Request Program.

Perform repair work primarily throughout Aldermanic District 18. This work includes replacing defective sidewalk, curb and gutter, and sidewalk ramps, including truncated domes (supplied by the City of Madison), and associated work.
