The department's objectives are to obtain materials, equipment, and/or services in a timely, cost effective manner, and at the best value to the Borough. We provide all departments and service areas of the Borough with clear guidance as it pertains to purchasing policies and procedures, and ensure that appropriations are used wisely and in the best interest of the Borough while preserving the integrity and fairness of the competitive process.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide comprehensive design services for the replacement and relocation of the generators and essential electrical systems at the South Peninsula Hospital (SPH). The objective of this project is to upgrade and modernize the existing infrastructure by replacing the current generators and updating all associated control systems, which have reached the end of their operational lifespan.
