The Kenai Peninsula Borough's Purchasing and Contracting Department provides support and service to the various entities of the Borough. The department's objectives are to obtain materials, equipment, and/or services in a timely, cost effective manner, and at the best value to the Borough. We provide all departments and service areas of the Borough with clear guidance as it pertains to purchasing policies and procedures, and ensure that appropriations are used wisely and in the best interest of the Borough while preserving the integrity and fairness of the competitive process.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for ITB26-012 Wheel Chair Lift Installation Kenai Middle School. The project consists of the following: Provide all labor and materials to procure and install wheelchair lift per contract documents. Installation must be completed by August 1, 2026. A pre-bid conference will be held at Kenai Middle School, 201 N Tinker Ln, Kenai AK 99611 on March 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. An additional Site Walkthrough is scheduled for March 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Kenai Middle School, 201 N. Tinker Lane, Kenai, AK. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds.
