RFP17-012 Central Peninsula Hospital Heliport - Professional Design Services
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for Professional Design Services to reconfigure the heliport and emergency entrance at Central Peninsula Hospital, including access drives and parking, reconstruct a heated concrete heliport and emergency transport access, provide for snow melt drainage to prevent glaciation. Project shall comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements for Hospital Heliports including required landing lights. Mitigation measures are required in the design to minimize turbulence impacts on adjacent properties and hospital. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Purchasing and Contracting Department, 47140 E Poppy Lane on May 23, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
